About TimberLedger
TimberLedger collects the test values published by the USDA Forest Products Laboratory for 155 commercial wood species and makes them easy to compare: hardness on one scale, stability rankings, group medians and the closest substitutes for each wood. It is run by Lucas Anderson and is independent of the USDA and of any timber supplier.
